Head Women's Basketball Coach Alberto Jempierre is entering his 2nd season as the teams head coach.

We went behind the scenes so we can get to know our coach better. 

Here are the five questions we asked him. 

1) Who is your favorite athlete and why?

Coach Alberto:

" Michael Jordan of the Chicago Bulls. His will, determination, perseverance and mentality was second to none."

2) What is your most memorable regular season win as a coach?

Coach Alberto:

On January 10th, 2024, we played New College of Florida. We finished the game with 4 women playing because one of our 5 available

players fouled out. 

With 4 players, we outscored them 17-10 in the 4th quarter, and won the game 66-48. I was so happy for our ladies to win like that, we won with 4 players remaining"

3) What is your favorite meal to have when celebrating a huge win?

Coach Alberto:

" Coconut Curry Grouper with steamed vegetables"

4) What is your favorite music to listen to when you are relaxing?

Coach Alberto:

" Frankie Beverly and Maze and Anita Baker."

5) What is your coaching philosophy?

Coach Alberto and the Eagles open up their season on October 29th as they scrimmage Florida Atlantic University.
