The University of Fort Lauderdale Women's Basketball Team defeated Trinity Baptist of Florida Friday night, at the Scott Galvin Community Center, 78-64.
The Eagles led 22-10 at the end of the first quarter and never looked back.Â
Sophomore, Maiya Petit had 20 points at halftime and finished with 46 points, 11 rebounds and 6 steals. Her 46 points, set the UFTL basketball single game scoring record
that was set last season by
Esther Joseph (42 points against Morris College).

Brinyia Rolax helped the Eagles as well. She had 11 points 9 blocks and 9 rebounds in the victory.Â
The Eagles and Petit will play again at home on Tuesday vs Florida National University at 5PMÂ
