Alberto Jemperrie has been coaching basketball for the last 17 years. His passion for the game and commitment to helping student athletes reach their highest potential is truly unmatched. Jemperrie has had the opportunity to share his knowledge with athletes across the globe. He loves the challenge of interacting with student athletes, identifying their strengths and weaknesses working with them on the fundamentals and assisting them in their overall understanding of basketball.
As a Former Division one student athlete at Drake University & Campbellsville University, Jemperrie earned the respect of his peers through his intense work ethic and hard-nosed approach to the game of basketball. Alberto has competed against NBA Players such as Kyle Korver, Reggie Evans, Chris Kaman, Jamaal Tinsley, Marcus Fizer, Luke Recker, and Dean Oliver. He has had the opportunity to play professionally in countries such as Uruguay, Argentina, Mexico England, Norway over the course of five years. Since then, Alberto has moved on into the coaching and training arena working at levels such as high school, collegiately and professionally.
Alberto Jemperrie is recognized as one of the top basketball trainers in the southeast region of United States and internationally. Alberto has been selected several times as a Camp Director & lead position instructor for the following nationally recognized camps such as the Prestigious Five Star Basketball Camp, Reebok All-American, Reebok Hoop Group Elite and the national junior college All American Basketball camp. Jemperrie has had great success within the coaching arena at several different levels such as high school, Amateur Athletic Union and collegiately all while accomplishing the following throughout his coaching journey Two AAU 17Under National Championships, one high school district championships, one junior college conference championship and becoming the winningest high school head girls’ basketball coach in everglades school history.
Jemperrie brings discipline, dedication, determination and creativity to the women’s basketball program representing the University of Fort Lauderdale, with his vision and tireless work ethic the eagles will soon soar to new heights.
