Men's Basketball vs Hastings College
By Monte Perez

When Tom Brady was winning six super bowls with the New England Patriots, It wasn't always pretty. Sure, he had games where they would win 45-10.

But, they  also had games where they would win 34-31 one a Sunday and 17-13 the following week.

Brady once said in an Interview with ESPN," When you win different ways it gives your team confidence that no matter what happens we can win. Playing in New England, I always felt we had a chance because we won so many different ways."

After last night's, 77-70 victory of Hastings College, I am starting to feel that way about the University of Fort Lauderdale Men's Basketball Team.

They are winning in so many different ways. The No.10 Ranked Eagles have won games in a high scoring affair, 94-82 over Beacon.

and also in a low scoring, grind it out match, against the Broncos on Wednesday night.

Good teams find ways to win and Coach Anthony Anderson's squad has now won 5 out of their last 6 games.
  • Benez Woodard led all scores with 22 points and shot 11 for 11 from the free throw line. Including clutch foul shots down the stretch.
  • Da'Shaun Stigler had 18 points, 8 rebounds and 2 steals.
  • De'Andre Pemberton had 9 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists.
  • Jimel Cofer Jr. had 9 rebounds, 8 assist and 6 block shots.
  • Corey Pope came off the bench and in 16 minutes contributed with 7 points,13 rebounds and 2 block shots.

Jump on the UFTL Men's Basketball Bandwagon... It is going to be a fun ride in 2025.
