Coach Billy Glessner started the baseball program at The University of Fort Lauderdale 4 years ago and the baseball teams success came quickly.

Coach Glessner won his 150th game this season as the manager of the Eagles. 

2022: 35-27

2024: 38-16
2025: 42-15

A start up program has turned into a powerhouse overnight. Through hard work and determination, the accomplishments have been amazing.
 

• 4 World Series appearances.
• 2 Final Four appearances
• 1 National Championship appearance.
• 3 South Regional Payers of the Year. (Ryan Rifenberg, 2x's... Erik Scott).
• 4 South Regional Pitchers of the Year. (Josh Crawford, 3x's... Gabriel Rangel).
• Over 30 players named to the All-South regional team. 

Coach Glessner said," None of this would be made possible without the support of my wife Minh. She has supported this program in so many ways, since day 1. Her effort and dedication to UFTL has been a blessing. Our coaches have done of amazing job of helping me build this program. Our success is a direct reflection of our coaches and players who buy in and work hard everyday. 

Most programs evaluate their head coaches 3 -4 years in. It takes time time to build a program and develop or change culture. Coach Glessner has hit the ground running and never looked back. Every season the Eagles have improved and the future looks bright.
