Last season, Woodard was "the rock"  that helped lead the Eagles to their second  NCCAA Playoff Appearance in three years.

The Senior averaged 15.5 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds, and led the team in steals. he shot 78% from the free-throw line.

He is the first UFTL basketball player to score over 1000 points for his career, and was named the NCCAA Athlete of the week for having a triple-double against

Clinton College.  One February 8th, 2025, Woodard accumulated 22 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, 2 blocks, 2 steals, and 0 turnovers in the 85-69 win.

Assistant Coach, David Graham said, "Benez is the ultimate example of hard work. His commitment to excellence and dedication have afforded him this opportunity. I don't expect anything less from him. I am truly excited for him."\

Head Coach, Anthony Anderson, "Woodard's best basketball is ahead of him. His IQ and willingness to learn the game of basketball is off the charts.  I watched him grow for 4 years, and the legacy he leaves behind sets the bar pretty high."
