The University of Fort Lauderdale Women's Basketball team traveled to Beacon College and walked away with an impressive win on the road, 60-47.

The Eagles led at halftime, 33-23, and cruised in the second half. 

• Alexis Gibbs had 18 points and 10 rebounds. 
• Brinyia Rolax had 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 blocks. 
• Monique Taylor had 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists
• Arlinda Roundtree had 6 points and 5 rebounds.

This was a well-balanced attack with all players contributing. 

Head Coach Alberto Jemperrie said of his team's first victory of the season...

" This was a hard-fought road victory. The team realized we didn't capitalize on a lot of opportunities.
Hopefully, this young team learned from this game and we will make the necessary adjustments to move forward and get better."
