WOMEN'S BASKETBALL DOMINATES THE NEW COLLEGE OF FLORIDA

Box Score The University of Fort Lauderdale Women's Basketball Team came out Wednesday night on fire, at the Scott Galvin Community Center, and they never looked back. The Eagles took an early 7-0 lead over The New College of Florida and dominated from start to finish. Esther Joseph led the way with 24 points and 11 steals. Kouraje Johson contributed with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Coach Alberto Jemperrie's team lead at halftime 43-19. This was a total team effort with all 5 ladies contributing. Britney Carver had 15 points and 5 steals, Alicia Loesch had 7 points and 11 rebounds and Emily Bryan had 8 strong boards off the glass. 

The Eagles played with 5 women and never took their foot of the gas. The Mighty Banyans had 12 women participate but they were no match for our five warriors. UFTL controlled the game in every aspect, out rebounding their opponent 38-31. Their defense stifled the New College of Florida and set a school record with 22 steals. Coach Jemperrie's group led from wire to wire and finished the game with a 66-48 well deserved victory.
