We sat down with Head Women's Basketball Coach and South Regional Coach of the Year, Alberto Jemperrie

1. What is your coaching philosophy?

I believe in position less basketball, giving players the freedom to maximize their abilities in a variety of situations and game scenarios. I want every player to be versatile, make smart decisions, and contribute in multiple ways on both ends of the floor.

2. Who are some of your coaching role models?

Each has demonstrated excellence in leadership, player development, and building championship cultures while making a lasting impact on the game.

3. If you were building a team from scratch, would you rather have a point guard, a dominant center, or a player who can play multiple positions?

A player who can play multiple positions. Versatility creates match up advantages, provides lineup flexibility, and allows a team to adapt to any style of play.

4. What's your favorite comfort food after a big win?
