The University of Fort Lauderdale men's basketball team will play back to back games vs Florida National University to close out the regular season before the South Regional Playoffs.Â
The Eagles are coming off their best performance of the year. They dominated South Florida Bible College, 91-49 at the Scott Galvin Community Center.
- Corey Pope had 16 rebounds and 15 points. He continues to led the team in rebounding and has become the perfect "Stretch-4." He can handle the ball, run the point, and help get his teammates involved. . He can score inside and outside & he leads the team in block shots. Pope has elevated his game over the 2nd half of the year and he is thriving in this offense.
- Adrian Body II (He is on the cover of this article and for the YouTube thumbnail) has been the ultimate "stat -stuffer". Body II has become a reliable 3 point shooter. He is shooting 41% from the three point line. He continues to wreak havoc on the defensive end and leads the team in steals. He plays much bigger than his size and is 3rd on the team, averaging 5.5 rebounds per game.
- Chris Berry had 11 points and 5 rebounds vs SFBC and took the ball to the basket and finished around the rim. He is 3rd on the team in steals and is shooting 81% from the free throw line. There is no one faster in the country with the ball going coast to coast.Â
- Freddy Reeves continues to be a scoring machine off the bench. He is second on the Eagles in scoring. He is shooting 43% from three and 81% from the free throw line. He does a great job of posting up smaller guards, drawing contact and finishing around the rim. He reminds me of former sixth man of the year in the NBA ,Jamal Crawford. Reeves is instant offense.Â

We played a very good game vs a good South Florida Bible College team. We need to finish strong and prepare for the south regional playoffs. If we get things right, we can make it back to the NCCAA Tournament."
