On December 5th, the University of Fort Lauderdale women's basketball team lost a hard-fought battle on the road to Florida National University, 72-60.
Less than one month later, the Eagles hosted the Conquistadors at the Scott Galvin Community Center. With revenge on their mind, UFTL battled all game and got revenge, winning, 85-80. Coach

We have worked really hard during the holiday break on all the fundamentals and little things."
This was a total team effort with everyone contributing.Â
- Alexis Gibbs had 19 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists.
- Khyle Wharton had 19 points and 8 rebounds.
- Amelia Gatson had 18 points and 7 rebounds.
- Keara Parker had 2 points and hit two huge free throws with under 10 seconds lef to seal the victory
- Jadah Kingcaid had 9 points and 6 big assists.Â
- Monique Taylor had 5 points, 2 steals, 4 rebounds, and blocked a shot off the bench.Â
