The University of Fort Lauderdale football team was trailing Ave Maria 16-6 at halftime before falling 36-12 on the road.
Although the game ended in a loss, there were several bright spots for the Eagles.

Defense:

• Jordan Nance had his 3rd blocked punt on the season.
• Schneier Maccenat recovered the punt and ran it in for a touchdown.
• Nathan Adras led the defense with 10 tackles on the night.
• Donte Mason had 8 tackles from the linebacker position.
• 1st Team All-South Regional player Justice Johnson and LB Bobby Jackson had 12 tackles combined. 
• Jason Brown, Dante Desantis, and Paul Chester each had 5 tackles. 

Offense:

• Freshman Koden Brown came off the bench as was 18-29 for 178 yards and a rushing touchdown. 
• Jean Telfort continues to make plays at the WR position. He had a season high of 10 catches for 76 yards.
• Cole Cross had 7 catches for a team high 113 yards
• Loriston Davidson had a 41-yard reception and finished the day with 4 catches for 84 yards.
• Darence Pierre- Louis was spectacular out of the backfield. He had 5 carries for over 50 rushing yards.

The Eagles will travel to Louisiana Christian on Saturday, October 4th.
