Last season, the University of Fort Lauderdale Softball Team, compiled a record of (27-25) as they won their first ever South Regional Softball Championship.
This season, The Eagles have a record of (32-16) and are ranked #1 In the NCCAA.
South Regional Coach of the Year,
Billy Glessner said at the start of the season, "
If we stay healthy all year, we can be as good as anyone in the NCCAA."
The Eagles took 3 out of 4 in their recent home stand and now have a record of 12-2 at Davis Field in Oakland Park. Â
- UFTL won 3-0 and 6-3 vs The New College of Florida.

-  On Senior Day, they won the first game against Florida Memorial University, 2-1 before losing in the nightcap, 5-1.Â

- Alexia Geary should be on the All-American Teams. She is 29-13 on the season as a pitcher and has 1.31 ERA. She is batting.317.
- Kaylee Wilt is #1 on the Eagles batting .319.
- "Sure-Handed" Katie Adkins is batting .309.
- Cheyenne Southers is batting .293 and has done a tremendous job playing centerfield.Â
- Alyssa Dragovich is batting .288 and has walked 23 times.Â
- Makenzi Heaton recently hit two home runs in a series and is now batting. 281.
- Cameron Rollison had two huge hits on Senior Day along with 2 RBI's.Â
- Kaylee Pitman is number 1 in the NCAA throwing out 23 runners trying to steal.Â
- Kaitlyn Nieves leads the team in bunts base hits.Â
- Jayce Bisbee continues to make plays on defense at 3rd base.
The Eagles will take on New College of Florida 4-29-2025 before hosting the South Regional Playoffs.
