There are 3 sports records that will never be broken in our lifetime.
- Wilt Chamberlain scoring 100 points against the New York Knicks in 1962.
- Joe DiMaggio having a 56 game hitting streak in 1941 for the New York Yankees.
- Alexia Geary pitching in 54 games, 45 complete games, and pitched in 338 innings in 2025.
Those professional legends and hall of fame players had one record. It is safe to say that Geary may have 3 records... for a lifetime.
Geary became the first player in University of Fort Lauderdale History to win the
NCCAA player of the Year. She was also the south regional player of the year in softball and 1st team All-American.

It was beyond amazing what she did this year. We played in 57 games, she pitched in 54 and not just pitched, was the best player of the field 99% of the time."

"Anytime she took the mound we knew we had a great chance to win no matter who we played."
Just to show how dominant Geary was this year. Let's compare her numbers.
- #1 in the NCCAA in innings pitched 338... 2nd in the NCCAA, Mackenzie Viehland, (Sterling) pitched in 181 innings.
- #1 in the NCCAA in strike outs 223... 2nd in the NCCAA, Shipley, (OCU) 133 strike outs.
- #1in the NCCAA in wins, 34... 2nd in the NCCAA, Bella MacFarlane, (JSP) 16 wins.
- #2 in ERA in the NCCAA 1.66.
- 45 complete games.
Geary also led the Eagles in Home runs with 6. Bating average... 333 and RBI's with 39.
The mental and physical toughness she displayed this season was the stuff legends are made of.
It is not hyperbole to say that what the All-American from Boring Oregon has done this season, will never be duplicated on the softball field.
