For the 1st time in school history... The University of Fort Lauderdale Women's softball team is Ranked #1 in the NCCAA.

The Eagles have a record of 29-15 and are 9-1 at home. 

South Regional 2024 coach of the year, Billy Glessner said," We are who I thought we were at the start of the season!"

• Alexia Geary continues to be an All-American candidate with her bat and on the mound.
• She leads the team in batting average (.328), Home runs (5) and RBI's (34).
• She has a 1.28 ERA ,13 shutouts, and 168 strikeouts, which is #1 in the NCCAA.

 

• Alyssa Dragovich is 3-2 on the year and is batting .293.
• Hannah Hogan and Katie Adkins make up the best 2nd base and shortstop combination in the country. They are batting .293 & 292.
• Makenzi Heaton and Cheyenne Southers are both batting over .280 and Kaitlyn Nieves leads the team in bunt base hits.
• Kaylee Pitman "The Cop" behind the plate, continues to be the glue that keeps this team together. She leads the NCCAA, throwing out 21 runners who tried to steal during the game.
