The University of Fort Lauderdale Eagles started their Virgin Islands trip with a victory as they defeated Division II Shaw,73-63.

The Comeback Kids" were trailing 33-32 at halftime and outscored their opponent by a 11 in the 2nd half to seal the win.

The Eagles are Ranked 10th in the NCCAA and are now 6-3 on the season.Â
Their 3 losses all came on the road by a total of 6 points combined.Â
If this team stays healthy, and focused, they could make a deep run in the post-season.Â
