The University of Fort Lauderdale Football Team is building something special at home.Â
For the second straight season, The Eagles, under Head Coach
Damon Cogdell, went undefeated at South Plantation High School.
On Saturday, November 16th, UFTL dominated Atlantis Univeristy 27-0, This was a total team effort with everyone contributing.Â
On Senior Day, The Only senior on the squad,
Franco De Luca started off the scoring with an athletic touchdown reception.Â
Quarterback
DeRohn King and Running Back,
Hakeem Quran had touchdown runs.Â
Coach Cogdell saved his best play for the teams last scoring drive.Â
Inside the opponents 5 yard line, Jacari Ponder caught a curl route and flipped the ball to 6'8 285lbs offensive lineman, Noal Andarge who ran it in for the final score.
Claudy Riguer and
Justice Johnson had interceptions and Tank Mason, Jacroy Waddell, Jevon/
Jason Brown and
Jordan Nance kept the offense out of sync all game.
Atlantis was never inside the Eagles 10 yard line. It was an impressive performance by our defensive once again.
The Eagles are building something special.Â

- 11/16 27-0 Win over Atlantis University.
Not many schools in the country can say they have not lost at home in two years. The Eagles Can!.Â
