Brianna Allen- Head Cheerleader Coach
Coach Allen was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, she proudly calls South Florida home. Serving as the Head Cheer Coach at the University of Fort Lauderdale is more than a coaching opportunity—it's a chance to give back to the community that helped shape her into the leader she is today. As a Florida native, she is passionate about mentoring the next generation of student-athletes and building a championship culture founded on excellence, discipline, and service.

Coach Allen's cheerleading journey began at just four years old with the Lauderhill Lions Optimist League Flag Football & Pee Wee Cheer Program, where she first discovered her passion for cheerleading and developed the discipline, teamwork, and confidence that would shape her future. At approximately 7–8 years old, she continued her youth cheerleading career with the Lauderdale Lakes Vikings, where she further refined her athletic abilities and leadership skills. Throughout her youth career, she built a strong foundation rooted in hard work, sportsmanship, and excellence—principles that continue to define her coaching philosophy today.

After completing her youth cheerleading career, Coach Allen continued her athletic journey at the historic Dillard High School, where she proudly represented the Panthers under the leadership of the legendary Coach Mary Jackson and Coach Mary Singletary. Their mentorship instilled in her the values of discipline, accountability, resilience, and excellence—qualities she now strives to cultivate in every student-athlete she coaches.

Today, Coach Allen is committed to building a premier cheerleading program at the University of Fort Lauderdale by developing student-athletes who excel academically, athletically, and personally. Her vision is to create a culture where every athlete is prepared for success both on and off the mat while proudly representing UFTL with integrity and purpose.
