Coach MCnair enter his 3rd season on staff at the University of Fort Lauderdale. His 2nd season as the assistant Head Coach/Recruiting Coordinator/ Defensive backs coach for the Eagles. Under his direction the Defensive Backs recorded 12 interceptions in the 2024. In each of the last 2 season UFTL has had a Defensive back make the All-Conference team.
Prior to coming to the University of Fort Lauderdale Coach Mcnair was the Head Football Coach at South Plantation High School in Plantation Florida from 2018-2021. From 2012- 2017 he was the Secondary coach at the Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Coach Mcnair started his high school coaching career at Coral Glades High School in Coral Springs, Florida from 2007-2010 as the secondary coach.
Coach Mcnair graduated from Boyd H. Anderson high school in 2001 where he started at Safety his Junior and Senior season. Then went on the West Virginia State University playing 4 years at the safety position. Coach Mcnair graduated from WVSU 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation minor in Education and a Master’s Degree in Athletic Administration from Nova Southeastern University in 2017. Coach Mcnair and his wife, Shena, have 2 daughters, Jailah (19), Payton (10) and a Son Bryce (4).
