The University of Fort Lauderdale Men's Baseball Team won back to back south regional championships for the first time in the school's history.

1st year coach, David Ernst and his team steamrolled the competition. In three games, The Eagles scored 20, 18 and 11 runs going 3-0 to capture the title.

Game 1 Eagles defeat  Bob Jones, 20-5:

• The Eagles were trailing 5 to 2 going into the bottom of the second inning. They responded by outscoring Bob Jones 18-0 the rest of the way.
• Brady Jackson had 2 hits, 2 walks, scored 3 runs and drove in two.
• Bennett Clement had 3 RBI.
• Gabriel Mangual went 3 for 4 with 3 RBI.
• Austin Coward and Michael Schleider hit home runs
• Cameron Hillery got his 6th win of the year.

Game 2 Eagles defeat Toccao Falls, 18-4:

• Evan Staroba pitched six innings and struck out 14 batters in the victory.
• Jordan Lewis had 4 hits and 5 runs scored and a home run
• B. Jackson had 6 RBI.
• Jun Moeller had 2 RBI.
• Michael Santiago had 3 hits.
• M. Schleider had a home run.

Game 3 Championship Game. Eagles defeat Toccao Falls, 11-9:

• Jackson, Rafael Castillo and Schleider all had home runs
• J. Moeller drove in 3 runs.
• J. Lewis had 2 stolen bases
• Luis De Los Santos got his 7th win on the year.

Coach David Ernst said," Our goal was to win the south regional championship all season long. We have reached one goal. The next one is to win the world series"
