The # 5 ranked University of Fort Lauderdale Men's baseball team won 2 out of 3 games vs NAIA Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. It is early on in the season but the Eagles have not lost a baseball series all year long.Â
Game 1
UFTL lost 14-9 in the opening but
Rolando Lujo lived up to his All-South Regional honors. Despite the loss, he had 4 hits in 5 at bats, a home run and 4 RBI.
Brady Jackson had 2 its and
Gabe Mustovic had a home run and 2 RBI's.
Game 2
Eagles won the game 4-1.
Cameron Hillery was masterful on the mound. He pitched 7 complete innings and struck out 8 batters in the win. Lujo had 3 RBI's and
Austin Coward had 2hits and 1 RBI.
Game 3
Lujo finished his monster weekend with 2 RBI's. Catcher,
Michael Schleider hit 2 home runs and
Eric Doyon walked 3 times as the Eagles took the series on the road.

David Ernst said, "
You always want to sweep a series, but I am happy the way our guys responded after losing the first game to an NAIA ranked team. We came back and took the series on the road."
