The University of Fort Lauderdale men's baseball team lost the opening game of the season to Savannah State, 5-4. They came back with a vengeance and out scored the tigers 28-5 in the remaining to games. 

Game 2 ... Eagels win 17-2 in 7 innings.

• Coltin Gurzynski-Hathaway led the charge on the mound pitching 5.2 innings, striking out 4 and only allowing 2 runs
• Jun Moeller had 3 hits in 5 at bats and scored 4 runs. 
• Bennett Clement had 3 RBI's
• Rolando Lujo had 4 hits, 3 RBI's and 2 runs scored.
• Eric Doyon had 3 RBI's and 2 doubles 
• Chance Muir had 3 hits.

The Eagles led  8-0 and 12- 2 before the game was called due to the "mercy rule" after 7 innings. 

Game 3... Eagles win 11-3. 

• Payton Casey started the game and Hunter Niksch came in for relief. Niksch pitched 3 innings and didn't walk a batter and struck out 5 to earn himself a win. 
• Moeller had 3 hits once again, this time, as the lead off hitter. 
• Muir had a double and 3 RBI's. 
• Lujo had 3 hits and 2 runs scored. 
• Michael Santiago had 2 hits and 2 walks.
• Rafael Castillo had 2 hits and Michael Schleider had 2 RBI's.
• 3rd baseman Brady Jackson was masterful at 3rd base defensively and contributed with 2 RBI"s.

Coach David Ernst said after the series, " I really like the way our team responded after the opening day loss. We have tremendous depth on this team and we are excited for our next series."
