The University of Fort Lauderdale Men's Basketball team won its second straight game and swept Morris College. The game was tied 42-42 at the break. The Eagles went on a 14-2 run midway through the second half and finished off the Hornets, 88-72. 

• Freddie Reeves led all scorers with 24 points and was 9 for 9 from the free throw line. 
• Corey Pope came up big with 14 points and 7 rebounds. 
• Vugar Kuliev had 13 points and 5 assists. 
• Chris Berry had 12 points and 2 steals. 
• Adrian Body II had 10 points, 2 steals, and 3 assists
• George Lee, Gavin Flowers, and Michael Okafor were all very active in the interior. 
• Jayven Cofer brought the house down with a steal and a monster dunk. 

Coach Anthony Anderson said of his team's win."We are starting to play better defense and not turn the ball over. I am excited for the stretch run now."

UFTL plays at home on Friday (January 30th) vs Haskell Indian Nations (7 PM).
