The University of Fort Lauderdale defeated Beacon College 84-51. The Eagles have now swept Trinity College and the Beacon  Blazers on the season. The Women's basketball team has won 3 out of its last 4 games. To say this team is hot is an understatement. If you stood by the women's basketball team, you might get a sunburn. 

The Eagles worked hard during their holiday break, and the fruits of their labor are now showing on the court. This game was never competitive as UFTL jumped off to an 8-0 and never looked back. 

• Arlinda Roundtree had a career day. She scored 26 points, grabbed 14 rebounds, dished out 6 assists, and 4 steals. 
• Monique Taylor scored 16 points, 5 steals, and 5 assists. 
• Alexis Gibbs had 7 steals and 14 points. 
• Keara Parker contributed with 10 points and 4 steals.
• Amelia Gatson had 10 rebounds in 21 minutes. She is 12th in the NCCAA in rebounds per game.

Coach Alberto Jemperrie said after the victory, " I love how this group continues to work on the little things. We are learning and growing what it means to be a successful team."
