The University of Fort Lauderdale Football team trailed 7-0 going into the 3rd quarter before losing to the University of Webber, 28-0. 

The score was not indicative of how competitive and close this game was for three and a half quarters.

Webber's depth at running back was the difference in this game. They had 4 different players score touchdowns and 5 players averaged over 4.5 yards per carry. 

Defensively, the Eagles made some quality plays. 

• Jaiden Robertson and Dante Desantis both had interceptions. 
• Jordan Nance had 9 tackles. A pass deflection and a blocked punt.
• Justice Johnson, Donte Mason, and Jason Brown had 8 tackles. 
• Javen Brown had 6 tackles and a sack.
• Jaquez Holloway had 8 tackles from the safety position.
• Andrew Hinds Jr. did a good job of clogging up the middle from the nose tackle position. 

Offensively, there were some bright spots. 

• Jean Telfor had 6 catches for 75 yards.
• Jacari Ponder had 10 catches for 55 yards.
• Darence Pierre-Louis had a big catch and run. 
• DeRohn King and Julius Finnerson rushed for over 60 yards combined.

The Eagles will travel to Ave Marie this weekend to take on the 0-2 Gyrenes.
