The #3 Ranked University of Fort Lauderdale Men's Baseball Team survived their first test in the NCCAA World Series by defeating #6 South Western Christian University, 10-9.Â
Rolando Lujo doubled of the center field wall in the bottom of the 9th inning to score
Ryan Rifenberg and help the Eagles seal the victory with a walk-off hit.

The momentum in this playoff game went back and forth. UFTL dug themselves a hole by trailing,3-0 after the 1st inning. They battled back to score 1 in the bootm of the 1st and 5 runs in the second inning. They were trailing.8-7 before scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the 8th and 1 in the bottom of the 9th, to win in dramatic fashion.
Great teams find ways to win and that is what this #3 ranked team has done over the past few weeks.
They are peaking at the right time and are now 10-1 in their last 11 games.

- Erik Scott stole 2 bases, he is now 55 for 55. He has not been caught stealing all season long.Â
