The University of Fort Lauderdale Men's basketball team traveled to Jacksonville and came away with a hard-fought victory over Trinity College of Jacksonville, 95-87.
The Eagles led 49-48 at halftime. With the game tied 81-81... Fort Lauderdale went on and 8-0 run to help close out the game.Â
Coach Anthony Anderson's defense caused 25 turnovers and made 21-23 free throws.Â
UFTL is 3rd in the country, causing 22 turnovers per game.
- Jimel Cofer Jr. had 18 points and 4 steals.Â
- Seth Joseph had a double/double, contributing with 18 points and 10 rebounds.Â
- Adrian Body II had 12 points and 5 rebounds.Â
- Chris Berry was 6-6 from the free throw line and had 12 points and 3 steals.
- Vugar Kuliev had 11 points and 4 rebounds.
- Jayven Cofer came off the bench and hit 2 big 3 pointers in the second half and had 3 steals.
- Jordyn Lilly had 7 points in 7 minutes off the bench.Â
Coach Anderson said,
