University of Fort Lauderdale

Coach Borgella was raised in Miami, FL, and graduated from La Salle High School in 2011.

During his high school years, he was highly recruited and played as a freshman, earning recognition as a 4-time All-Dade athlete. After high school, Coach Borgella continued his athletic journey at Bethune-Cookman University, where he again played as a freshman and went on to earn 4 MEAC Conference Championships.

Borgella furthered his career by securing a spot on the 2021-2022 Columbus Lions Professional Arena Football Team. For the past three years, he has served as a Defensive Back Coach, and this is his second season coaching at the University of Fort Lauderdale.
