Job Description:
The University of Fort Lauderdale is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Head Football Coach to lead the growth and improvement of its program in Lauderhill, FL.

Responsibilities:
- Reads, understands, and complies with the University’s mission.
- Adheres to all conference and university policies and procedures.
- Ability to communicate and work with a diverse population.
- Assist in upholding community standards by providing neutral observation and objective reporting of incident, crisis and other situations that may arise.
- The Head Coach is responsible for administering all aspects of the Football program relating to academics, practice organization, game day management and preparation, player evaluations and recruitment of prospective student-athletes.
- The Head Coach is responsible for completing and managing an operational budget.
- The Head Coach is responsible for raising funds for the football program.
- Football community liaison.
- The Head Coach will work with the athletic administration to hire all assistant coaches.
- Ability to travel long distances and work weekdays/weekends.
- Maintains current knowledge of athletics policies, procedures, and conference guidelines.
- Support and participate in University Commencement Ceremonies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Five years of coaching experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability and desire to motivate student-athletes to succeed academically and athletically.
- Ability to work effectively as a team with administration, faculty, coaching staff, students, and alumni.
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree
- 2-5 years of head college coaching and recruiting experience.
- Knowledge of NCCAA compliance rules and regulations.
- Proven track record of successful recruiting.
